What I Do & Why

This is a small business. Personal relationships matter to me, as do the quality and longevity of the work I do. My life has been spent working and living around old houses in Providence. My goal is to prolong the architectural character of those homes, and adapt them to the demands of twenty-first century living.

Almost all of my work is done by hand. The scope of work ranges widely. I specialize in:

• Window and door restoration

• Porch and deck restoration

• Cabinetry and shelving

• Door casings

• Flooring

• Stair finishing

• Custom millwork and molding restoration

• Lead mitigation

I also have extensive experience with brick parging, siding construction, plaster repair, wallpaper restoration, and more. I am particularly interested in original building methods. As a general contractor, I study and oversee all aspects of a home.

I am registered with the Rhode Island Contractors’ Licensing and Registration Board, I am a licensed Lead Renovation Firm with the Rhode Island Department of Health, and I am fully insured.
